Our six catering trailers travel to you anywhere in the ArkLaTex. East Texas, southern Arkansas, and northern Louisiana are all practically in our backyard.

Our catering menu is extensive and delicious. We serve you where you are. Our experienced staff easily handle parties, conventions, reunions, tournaments, corporate parties and major events.

Each of our catering trailers is unique, custom built to handle a specific range of events and menus. Smaller gatherings may want only fried food and side dishes served by only one person. In these cases we send a smaller trailer and only two people, a cook and a server. Larger gatherings may want smokers, grills, steamers and barbeque. We have trailers that carry all the necessary equipment and have sent as many as 16 people to cater one large event.

We are experienced, efficient, and dependable. We have everything under control from the time we leave our yard in Marshall, Texas to come to your location. All the food is prepped. The proper equipment is dispatched. And, our experienced staff knows what to do and how to keep you and your guests happy.

Our food is high quality and delicious. Our experience over the last sixteen years catering in East Texas has gained us many repeat customers. We regularly cater for Ducks Unlimited, Delta Waterfowl, National Wild Turkey Federation, White Tail Unlimited, Coastal Conservation Association, Quality Deer Management, Texas Deer Breeders Association and many more.

Our catering menu is extensive and includes fried catfish, fried chicken, popcorn shrimp, fried crawfish tails, chicken fried steak, hickory smoked barbeque, brisket, pork spare ribs, grilled chicken, flame broiled ribeye steaks, hamburger, alligator, oysters, frog legs, seafood gumbo, crawfish etouffee, broiled shrimp, stuffed crab, pork chops, and much more.

The Restaurant

From the very beginning we decided to serve only the best food available. While some catfish restaurants were serving cheaper Vietnamese Basa and calling it catfish, we always serve farm raised American catfish. Our dedication to quality extends to all our menu items. We will always give you the best food at the best price anywhere.

The atmosphere in our restaurant is rustic and Texas-friendly. Natural wood and sturdy tables remind customers that this is a place to relax and enjoy the flavors real food. There is no pretence and no attempt at elegance. This is down-home cookin'. The flavors are bold and the aromas enticing.

We think of ourselves as your hosts, the same as if you were joining us at home. You are apt to see our son, Jeremy, in the restaurant, maybe helping bus tables, or maybe doing homework at a side table. In the kitchen he is a great help and has been to certification class and qualified for his own health card.

Catfish express employees tend to stay a long time. One employee, our lead cook has been with us since the beginning. 16 years ago. Four other employees have been here for more than three years.

Our Restaurant Menu

The first thing we did when we bought the restaurant in 2009 was change the menu, adding fresh vegetables. We changed from frozen pre-breaded chicken fried steak and chicken tenders to fresh hand-breaded foods. We proudly serve American Catfish not the foreign look a likes. We have added Oysters, Frog Legs, Alligator, Pork Chops and whole fish to the menu. We also added fresh salads and we are looking forward to adding baked potatoes in the near future. We have had many catering customers ask us to put our Bar-B-Que in the store. Look for it in the near future.

In 2010 we completed the addition of an 80 person Banquet/Meeting room. We now host the Mar-Tex Evening Lions, Marshall Pilot Club, and Business Networking International for their regular meetings.
